KEY FEATURES

AUDIENCE

We immerse ourselves into your world to determine your target audience, compiling detailed personas of each segment, and then design the website accordingly. We match the look and feel of the site to a visual representation of your business that your target demographic can relate.

CONSISTENCY

We start your project by creating a Brand/Style Guide, which specifies the logo, fonts, colors, graphics, iconography, and photographic styles that define your brand. Once this is set, all media on any platform will adhere to this ‘Guide’ so that your brand is consistent across all channels.

USABILITY

UI/UX (User Interface /User Experience) are factors that will ultimately determine the effectiveness of your website. Our UI/UX designers are experts in creating a unique, intuitive experience that will allow your visitors to focus on the important information, act on a CTA’s (Calls To Action), and generate leads.

WHY CHOOSE NGAGE?

Quite simply because we have been building websites for over 20 years and responsive, mobile-optimized websites since the 3rd quarter of 2007, right after the first iPhone was released. We started out with HTML5 sites, and then began creating custom, responsive WordPress themes for our clients who desired a CMS (Content Management System).

We presently offer a beautifully set up, customized,  website that you can manage and update easily with the WordPress dashboard. You are able to make changes to the content, and these automatically upload to the site…no programming necessary. As many of our clients don’t have the bandwidth to manage and update their websites themselves, we also offer fully managed, maintained and hosted plans through our sister company, WP GreaseMonkeys.

We work with you to decide which of the many features and plugins would best fit your needs. Once the website is set up, we host it on our servers. Our planning/set-up process is easy and straightforward, and we take care of all updates for the website infrastructure.

WHAT DOES RESPONSIVE WEB DESIGN LOOK LIKE?

The purpose of responsive design is to have one site, but with different elements that respond differently when viewed on devices of different sizes. The majority (over 2/3) of web traffic is now on mobile devices, so the way a site looks and engages MUST be optimized for mobile.

When viewed on a desktop computer, for instance, the website might show three columns. But when you view that same layout on a smaller tablet, it might force you to scroll horizontally, something users don’t like. Or elements might be hidden from view or look distorted. The impact is also complicated by the fact that many tablets can be viewed either in portrait orientation, or turned sideways for landscape view.

On a tiny smartphone screen, websites can be even more challenging to see. Large images may “break” the layout. Sites can be slow to load on smartphones if they are graphics heavy.

The point is: with well-designed, responsive, mobile-optimized design, the website automatically adjusts to offer an optimal UX/UI (User Experience/User Interface) based on the user’s device.
